The eight musicians pay homage to the work of the unique Herman "Sonny" Blount, better known as Sun Ra. Already during his lifetime he was discussed very controversial. Some celebrate him as a legend, some consider him to be a charlatan.
Beyond doubt he wrote great compositions. "We have to create a music that withstands disadvantagous vibrations of other planets." Well then.
